Stephen Schubert “Good Fortune”

Stephen Schubert, popular multi-dimensional artist has created an all new body of work.  Stephen’s new style is a radical departure from his 3-D wall sculpture realism for which he is nationally known. Stephen uses Mediterranean and Asian impulses to create contemporary abstracts on canvas to ”inspire the viewer to bring his or her own emotional responses into the equation.” The current abstracts ask you to look anew upon color, form and texture layering. The work is perfectly tailored to the construction trend across the country of featuring lifestyle centers with live/work spaces circumscribing an active retail hub.

After 15 years of experience Stephen is particularly adept at working with designers and clients to create personalized pieces. He relishes delivering commissioned work which fulfills a broad range of design applications.

I love doing commission pieces, and I am always trying new things with textures and paint effects in my contemporary abstracts, learning regularly how much creating provides a visceral connection to the often undefinable. – Stephen Schubert
