Our Story

The Art Spotter was created and is currently run by Certified Interior Designer Lindsay Hunter. With eight years of interior design experience in California, Hunter sympathized with the challenges that interior designers faced. One of the most taxing aspects of the business was finding artwork that met client’s needs in regard to size requirements, budget, color schemes, and other specifications. The time spent visiting galleries, searching for artists and perusing websites with hopes of finding that one piece was cumbersome. Hunter was determined to create a better way for interior designers to find the artwork they needed, and this is how an art buyer became The Art Spotter. There’s no longer a need to take a shot in the dark; The Art Spotter streamlines the art buying process by maintaining an ever-expanding collection of up-and-coming and established artists.
